Jerry Thompson was re-elected as Fire Chief for a fifth year. While Terry Eirich was re-elected as Asst. Chief for his eigth term, while Trent Snow will serve his first year as an Asst. Chief.
John Sydow and Jim Tacha were re-elected as Captains and will be joined by Max Gintzler and Bob Reineke.
George Wiedel will replace Tony Rich as Rescue captain.
KVFD also held its elections of Corporate and Board members with Brad Isaac as President, L.D. Glatter as VP, Jim Brooker - Secretary, Matt Ullman - Treasurer and Brian Wolfe as Board of Directors member.

Jr. Fire Patrol Begin
KVFD is conducting its 22nd annual Jr. Fire Patrol program. We are inviting a maximum of five students from each 5th grade class in our fire district.
Training consists of learning different classes of fire, how fire travels, use of fire extinguishers, climbing ladders, breaking and crawling out windows, etc.

SOUP SUPPER SUCCESS!
KVFD held its' annual Soup Supper at the Community Center in Riverdale on March 7, 2009 and it was a great success. We want to say "Thank You" to all of those who attened and made it a wonderful community event.
